Mackinawite is novelly synthesized by FRB and SRB, which has large potential on in-situ remediation of AMD. Biological originated mackinawite characterized by XRD、Raman and IR. The process of aerobic oxidation of biosynthesized mackinawite shows good implications for in-situ remediation of AMD.
