Three cocrystals of flavonols with varying B-ring hydroxyl groups combined with 4,4′-bipyridine were obtained. Three cocrystals present three different synthons I R88(58), IV R44(42) and VII R66(29), respectively. Three cocrystals show admirable antibacterial properties against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, respectively.
