The required OTR and CTR for designing MAP of guava fairly matched to that available with PVC film of 40 μm. At the end of storage period guava in PVC 40 film were perceived as highly acceptable. PVC 40 film may be used to design MAP for guava at 5 and 10 °C with added moisture scrubber to extend its shelf-life.
