Flow patterns within a closed-loop OHP with Fe2O3/kerosene as the working fluid are presented.

Motion of Fe2O3/kerosene liquid slugs and vapour plugs are influenced by heat rate, filling ratio and tube diameter.

Random motion of liquid slugs and vapour plugs flow are influenced by bubble generation and growth.

TS bubbles were generated with liquid slug velocities equals and less than 0.15 m/s.
