Dense β’’-Al2O3 electrolyte with good conductivity was successfully produced. The reactive sintering and the influence of powders thermal treatments were investigated. The electrolyte microstructure is highly affected by the thermal activation of the starting powders. The best properties for β’’-Al2O3 are obtained using powder calcined at 1100 °C.
