The Euler–Euler method was used to model the flow mixing inside a carbonating tank.
Carbonation process increased at high gas and water inlet velocities.
L-shaped nozzle design increased the carbonation process.
Mass transfer coefficient increased with the increase of the inlet gas velocities.
Carbonation process was improved with the use of small gas bubbles.
