VOCs from H. uvarum on strawberry with/without B. cinerea were identified. Antifungal activity of H. uvarum VOCs against B. cinerea in vitro and in vivo were studies. 1,3,5,7-cyclooctatetraene and ethyl acetate were enhanced by inoculation of B. cinerea. H. uvarum VOCs maintained fruit appearance, firmness and total soluble solids. H. uvarum VOCs significantly controlled postharvest gray mold of strawberry.
