Attachment in children with autism spectrum disorder: A systematic review
详细信息    查看全文
文摘
Children with ASD are capable of forming selective, secure attachments. In seven samples using the Strange Situation procedure, 47% of children with ASD were classified as secure (n = 186). Risk and protective factors range from child to caregiving environment factors. Evidence for attachment-based therapies are mixed. Further work is needed investigating the clinical application of attachment theory.
