Development of multiple acaricide resistance can severely impact cattle tick control. Surveillance is essential to avoid dissemination of multi-resistant ticks. Bioassays were conducted with 104 cattle tick isolates from Southern Brazil. Resistance to more than three acaricides was detected in 78.5% of samples. Resistance to all acaricides tested was found in 25.2% of samples analysed.
