The buckling behavior of LG column made up of multi-layered glass sheets is studied. First-hand experimental data on the buckling behavior are reported. The influences of interlayer number, load duration and temperature are examined. A characteristic geometrical imperfection value for the LG columns is suggested. Design methods are proposed to predict the load resistance of the LG columns.
