Compare five different ways of geometrical information acquisition, which serve for the evaluation of existing building applied photovoltaic (BAPV) potential. Summarized the evaluation method for BAPV potential based on 3-dimensional (3D) geometrical reconstruction. Tested the accuracy of the method for geometrical information acquisition of buildings on the basis of 3D geometrical reconstruction. Developed a feasible evaluation method of BAPV potential.
