Pt/alumina/FeCrAl model catalyst prepared using Pt nitrate solutions is presented. Proposed model is identical to real catalysts on porous alumina. Chemical deposition allows particle size and surface chemistry control. Proposed models resolve charging/screening effect problems. In situ SR XPS study prohibitive for catalysts on porous alumina is allowed.
