Systematic computational study of flow and heat transfer above a heated rotating disc. Separate and combined roles of disc rotation and buoyancy in the mixed convection. Exposition of three distinct fluid dynamic regions above the heated rotating disc. Identification of a small central region where the fluid supplies energy to the disc. Buoyancy decreases, increases and does not affect the Nusselt number respectively at small, medium and large radius.
