Petrophysical characterization of shale reservoir based on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiment: A case study of Lower Cambrian Qiongzhusi Formation in eastern Yunnan Province, South China
A regional Coates model is proposed to calculate the NMR permeability of shale. Seepage pores in bimodal shale are more developed than those in unimodal shale. Shale with higher bound water content has a greater T2cutoff. Transition pores account for the largest proportion, followed by mesopores.
