SOC stock accumulation in silvoarable systems was 0.24 Mg C ha−1 yr−1 at 0–30 cm. C stock accumulation in the tree biomass was 0.65 Mg C ha−1 yr−1. Old agroforestry systems increased deep SOC stocks. Most of SOC storage occurred in tree rows. Limited potential of trees to store additional SOC in silvopastoral systems.
