The RHO GEF VAV3 is a direct transcriptional target of CDX2. CDX2 activates a RHO GTPase signaling cascade. CDX2 favors the formation of well-organized actin stress fibers in colon cancer cells. CDX2 enhances cellular stiffness, a characteristic of poor metastatic potential.
