CaO/Ca(OH)2 reaction loop studied in a batch fluidized bed reactor. Bubbling reactor model validated by using a cross flow factor as single parameter. The dehydration reaction is controlled by bubble-emulsion mass transfer resistance. The hydration reaction is controlled by the slow kinetics of the CaO material tested.
