Caffeic acid phenetyl ester (CAPE) showed Cellular antioxidant activity (CAA). CAPE has a strong protective effect against ROS in the cellular environment. CAPE helped to preserve the morphology and integrity of M12.C3.F6 cells. CAPE showed similar effects on RAW 264.7 cell morphology in the CAA assay.
