CNT-enabled composites can be used for EMI shielding for satellite applications. Compares life cycle energy benefits of using CNT-enabled composites instead of conventional aluminum sheets or composites. Comparison is made considering the performance of the shielding options. Reduced mass of EMI shielding, fuel use, and primary energy demand was observed when using CNT-enabled composites.
