Addition of FEC can significantly improve the high rate performance, cycle life, and coulombic efficiency of Si/C anode. More stable and denser SEI film is formed after addition of FEC. SEI film mainly consists of Li2CO3, ROCO2Li, LiF and poly(FEC) with the addition of FEC.
