New heterobinuclear oxindolimine-Cu(II)Pt(II) complexes were characterized. Redox potential of all the metal centers were determined by CV measurements. Interactions with DNA monitored by CD experiments indicated different effects. Its cytotoxicity toward tumor cells indicated IC50 values in the range 0.6 to 4.0 μM.
