Spink 2 is present in carp seminal plasma. Spink2 is expressed and localized in the carp male reproductive tract. The full-length cDNA sequence of Spink2 from carp testis was obtained. Spink2 displayed strong activity against cod trypsin and subtilisin. Spink2 of carp seminal plasma displayed bacteriostatic activity.
