CuO/TiO2 hybrid nanofibers with different CuO contents were fabricated. The CuO/TiO2 nanofibers exhibited greatly improved photocatalytic activity. The CuO/TiO2 nanofibers provided very high catalysis for nitrophenol reduction. The mechanisms of both photocatalytic and catalytic reactions were discussed.
