Easy preparation of magnetic NNN-pincer copper catalyst as heterogeneous catalyst. High loading 0.38 mmol g−1 of Cu(I) on heterogeneous support because of powerful pincer ligand. Successful application of the catalyst to variety of substrates for homocoupling and click reactions in water using 0.38 and 0.04 mol% catalyst loading. Recoverable and reusable up to 8 times without leaching and reduced activity.
