A CXCL_F2 homologue was identified and characterized in large yellow croaker. LycCXCL_F2 transcripts significantly increased in spleen and head kidney upon bacterial vaccine stimulation. Recombinant LycCXCL_F2 protein exhibited obvious chemotactic activity to monocytes, lymphocytes and eosnophils of PBLs. LycCXCL_F2 possesses primitive chemotactic activity and may play a role in immune response in large yellow croaker.
