Ni3Si and Ni5Si2 compounds are formed at high temperature via chemical reactions of Ni and SiC.

Crystallization of the two phases at small angles has the advantage of reducing the dislocation density.

A bright stripe formed as a boundary between the Ni-P matrix and SiC particle, but it lost stripe shrank to a negligibly small width after annealing.
