Improvements of CaO-based sorbents for cyclic CO2 capture using a wet mixing process

CaO-based sorbents are synthesized using a wet mixing method.

Molecular sieve and alumina ceramic are used as precursors to enhance performances of sorbents.

The synthetic sorbent has high BET surface area and large pore volume.

The best CO2 sorbent shows a CO2 uptake capacity of 0.41 g CO2/g sorbent after 20 cycles.
