Various binary fatty acid eutectics are used as the phase change materials.

Thermal behavior and characteristics of the composite fibers are identified.

Fabricated composites offer a wide phase-transition temperature range (−9 to 34 °C).

The composite fibers are very promising for use in near ambient systems applications.
