The novel combined wavy-groove and perforated-delta wing vortex generators are introduced for heat transfer enhancement.

Heat transfer and flow friction characteristics in the solar air heater are experimentally examined.

The newly designed absorber plate provides much higher heat transfer than the smooth channel.

Optimum parameters of combined devices and their correlations are reported.
