A highly specific PD-L1 binding peptide, WL12, was developed as a PET imaging agent. [64Cu]WL12 demonstrates specific binding to PD-L1 in vitro and in vivo. [64Cu]WL12-PET allows PD-L1 detection in cancers within 60 min of administration. WL12 binding interactions with PD-L1 overlaps with that of PD-1.
