3DOM La0.6Sr0.4CoO3 (LSCO) is synthesized by the PMMA-templating method. 2Au/3DOM LSCO is prepared via the PVA-protected reduction route. yMn3O4-2Au/3DOM LSCO is fabricated using the physical adsorption method. 1.67Mn3O4-2Au/3DOM LSCO performs the best in the oxidation of toluene. Catalytic activity is governed by Oads content, reducibility, and metal − support interaction.
