O,N,O aroylhydrazones gave hexa- and hepta-coordinated dinuclear cadmium complexes. Complexes showed color tunable luminescence in the solid state. Grafted metallopolymers with the same coordination core showed enhanced PLQY. Theoretical calculations were in agreement with the experimental data.
