MTiOxs are synthesized for use in the chemical looping combustion of methane. The CH4-TPD and H2-TPR analyses showed the highest activity on Cu1.5Ti1Ox. The variability was exhibited by the different doping elements and concentrations. Cu1.5Ti1Ox in CH4-CO2/air redox system improved capturing and releasing oxygen.
