A facile strategy of fabricating self-healing superhydrophobic cotton fabric was exhibited. The superhydrophobic cotton fabric showed superior resistance to various liquids and excellent durability to extreme environments. After devastating abrasion, the fabric superhydrophobicity can be restored by brief heating treatment.
