The ZnO/SnO2 and Pr-doped ZnO/SnO2 are synthesized through a facile two-step method. Couple two semiconductors and dope with metal ions to improving the gas sensing. The Pr-doped ZnO/SnO2 nanoflowers exhibit high selectivity to methanol at 200 °C.
