n-type LaxCo4Sb12 was synthesized with high pressure synthesis. High pressure substantially increases the filling fraction limit of La in CoSb3. Power factor as high as 4600 μWm−1K−2 was reached in La0.29Co4Sb12. The highest ZT of 1.06 was achieved in the optimal La0.29Co4Sb12 at 863 K.
