A multifunctional interface is created based on competing adsorption of proteins. Adsorbed protein composition is related to the protein mixture in solution phase. Protein adsorption on polychloro-para-xylylene surface is irreversible and stable. Synergistic biological activities are induced by adsorption of functional proteins.
