Dose-dependent effect of donepezil administration on long-term enhancement of visually evoked potentials and cholinergic receptor overexpression in rat visual cortex
The cholinergic potentiation of visual training enhances long-term responses in V1. The cholinergic potentiation of visual training triggers AChR subtypes upregulation. A high dose of donepezil elicits stronger and broader effects than a low dose. Donepezil use could be implemented to visual rehabilitation in human.
