Component analysis was carried out for broadening our knowledge of bioleachate. A new chromium-iron tanning agent was prepared by using bioleachate. The chromium-iron tanning agent was successfully reused in tanning process. The recycle of Cr within bioleachate can effectively improve the leather industry cleaner.
