An ether- and allyl-functionalized dicationic ionic liquid ([AIOIA][TFSI]) is synthesized.

1H-T1 and 19F-T1 increase with increasing temperature.

An upfield shift in 1H and 19F spectra was observed with increasing LiTFSI concentrations in the ILs.

The Ea of DAIOIA+ and DTFSI are larger than those of the σ and Λ at various lithium salt concentrations.
