A new EuIII β-diketonate complex have been synthesized and fully characterized. Theoretical and experimental spectroscopic properties were investigated. Energy transfer mechanism for this compound has been performed. Red organic light emitting diode (OLED) devices were fabricated using this complex. The compound have potential applications as light-conversion molecular devices.
