Longitudinal patterns of marijuana use across ages 18-50 in a US national sample: A descriptive examination of predictors and health correlates of repeated measures latent class membership
Identified 7 latent marijuana use classes from ages 18–50 among a national sample. Twenty-eight percent of respondents reported longer-term moderate/heavy use. Use reduction appeared particularly likely during early and late young adulthood. Key characteristics differentiated between use/non-use, use intensity and duration. Adverse health outcome likelihood increased with use intensity and duration.
