Influence of the soil pH in the uptake and bioaccumulation of heavy metals (Fe, Zn, Cu, Pb and Mn) and other elements (Ca, K, Al, Sr and Ba) in vine leaves, Castilla-La Mancha (Spain)

Mineral elements are accumulated in the leaves of vines depending on the soil pH. The pH has a marked effect on the uptake of mineral elements. Cu and Ca had high BAC values in alkaline soils. In contrast, Sr, Zn and Mn were preferentially bioaccumulated in acidic soils.
