Cooling capacity and acoustic performance of radiant slab systems with free-hanging acoustical clouds

We tested different coverage areas of acoustical clouds below a radiant ceiling. We experimentally assessed the cooling capacity in a hydronic test chamber. We experimentally assessed the sound absorption in a reverberation chamber. The cooling capacity coefficient decreases by 11% for 47% cloud coverage. We can achieve an acceptable reverberation time with 47% cloud coverage.
