ASP0028 in combination with suboptimal-dose of tacrolimus significantly prolonged renal allograft survival in NHP model. ASP0028 administration remarkably reduced numbers of peripheral lymphocyte subsets of CD4+/ or CD8+/naive and central memory cells, and CD4+/Treg cells. ASP0028 administration also reduced numbers of peripheral B cells, although to a lesser extent. ASP0028 administration did not affect numbers of peripheral lymphocyte subsets of CD4+/ or CD8+/effector memory cells, and NK cells.
