An equiatomic alloy of CuNiSiTiZr is produced by melting and casting.

Electrospark computer numerical control deposition process (ES-CNCD) is proposed.

A high-entropy alloy coating is obtained on TC11 via ES-CNCD.

The thermodynamics of the coating is analyzed by proposing mixing enthalpy matrix.

The coating is identified as BCC coating with micro/nanocrystallines.
