Dependent on the nature of polymer, modification of CNC may become necessary. Modified CNC used in the study increased all mechanical properties of UV-cured nanocomposite coatings. To fully discover the potential of CNC as reinforcing filler, better dispersion methods should be developed for dispersion of CNC in the polymer.
