The budget of turbulence kinetic energy for ABL has been theoretically investigated. Closure coefficients have been proposed for three different turbulence models. Simulations are performed for the non-neutral homogeneous atmospheric boundary layer. The results have been compared to the Monin–Obukhov theory.
