The effect of combustor dimensions on the combustion stability was elucidated. Wall thermal properties are important for optimizing combustor dimensions. The optimal wall thickness increases with flow velocity. The optimal combustor length depends on the wall thermal conductivity. Stability diagrams were constructed and design recommendations were made.
