Combustion synthesis of Ti-C-Co-Ca3(PO4)2-Ag-Mg electrodes and their utilization for pulsed electrospark deposition of bioactive coatings having an antibacterial effect
Co-based electrodes produced by SHS for Ti-C-Co-Ag-Mg-Ca-P-O coating deposition. Co binder strongly influences on kinetics of pulsed electrospark deposition and coating structure. Ag-based nanoparticles are homogeneously distributed in PED coatings. Doping with Ag provides a strong antibacterial effect against E.coli and S.aureus bacteria.
